Vivo launched a Midrange smartphone Named U20. This  Vivo U20 was released in India on 8 Nov 2019. Vivo U20 is priced at 10,990 ( 4GB + 64GB ) Indian Rupees in India.

Vivo Released U20 in 6GB + 64GB, Internal Storage Model Also. when I’m using Vivo U20 I got a perfect Midrange Smartphone feeling when holding in the hand with a Triple Camera Setup on rear and single camera set up on the front & SD 675 Underhood at a Un Believable Price makes this Smartphone a true Performance & Camera beast.

Vivo U20 features the Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm named SD 675 which is available on Redmi Note 7 Pro. this chip is made of 11nm LPP (Low Power Plus) FinFet process. this processor is divided into 2 parts; the first part features 4 x A75 High power cores which are clocked at 2.0GHz, second part features 6 x A55 high powered cores which are clocked at 1.8GHz. it has Adreno 612 GPU which increases its work by 33% compared to SD 665 the last Midrange processor from Qualcomm. it has an X15 LTE Modem which has Download and Uploads speeds of 800 & 150MBPS. Coming to the AI Department it does not have Ai built in the processor, it has AI Optimizations which helps in AI Capabilities.

6.35” Full HD+ IPS LCD Screen :

Here in Display Department, Vivo Z1 Pro Features an Excellent Full HD IPS LCD panel Notchless screen with 395 pixels per inch, the colours are vibrant and enjoyable, viewing angles are also Excellent. There are No issues & problems with screen quality. It is very bright to see in direct sunlight.

it is Protected with Normal Chinese Made Glass On Front Which is Drop resistant and Protects the IPS LCD Screen.

Stereo Speaker and Headphone Jack:

In U20, Vivo Used the traditional Single Speaker System and it is Adequately Louder than Other Midrange Smartphones. The Out From the Speaker is Clear.

Vivo Has Included Headphone jack In Vivo U20 Smartphone which is a good thing in my opinion. All the brand are not taking interest in the headphone jack and removing it. Coming to 3.5mm and earphones, the 3.5mm port provides a punchy and clear sound.

Build Quality :

Vivo U20 is Build with Polycarbonate Frame on the side on Back of the Device Is Protected with Plastic. it provides a good look and Doesn’t feels Good Because it is made with Polycarbonate. There are no issues of creakiness with the build quality.

Rear Fingerprint scanner:

Vivo U20 Features a Rear mounted fingerprint sensor which is present on the Top Rear of the phone. By performance, it is fast and very accurate to recognize the fingerprint of the user.

Weight balance:

Vivo U20 feels A bit Heavy with 6.35″ Screen and 5000 mAh battery equipped. This U20 can be used by one hand But, You Will feel Little Heavy While Using. You Will Not Feel After Using a Week. The weight balance is done well on the device though it is made Up of Polycarbonate On Rear and Side.

Battery life:

My Vivo U20 lasted a Full Working day with heavy usage and at the end of the day, I had 22% of charge left in the phone which is good for a 5000 mAH Battery. We got 5.8 to 6.2 Hours of Sot( Screen on time) on using Mobile data which is good. you will get above 7hr Battery life if you use Continuously on WiFi. The ideal drain of U20 is very low. the 18W Quick charging 4+ makes a difference and charges the phone in 110 min which is a bit good.

Funtouch Ui Based On Android 9 Pie :

Fun touch OS based Android 9 Pie present on the Vivo U20 SmartPhone is very fast & so fluid, No lags were noticed. It has a ton of bloatware like Huawei & Xiaomi Devices. There are some extra features like Inbuilt Face Unlock System, Direct video calling feature, Perfect Gaming Mode makes this FunTouch OS special for U20 SmartPhone. Vivo should change the Look of Ui to their Own Style.

My U20 managed to do day to day tasks very well. there are No issues and problems with the UI. there are no heating issues with U20 It Feels a bit warm In Outdoor Conditions While Recording 4K Videos and Gaming.

Ram Management :

Ram Management is done very well on this U20 device. it features 4 / 6 GB ram variants and I did not notice any lags with the 4GB Ram device and there are no reloading of apps on this U20. Multitasking experience is good.

Coming to Gaming, we played Asphalt 9 & PUBG at medium graphics setting without lags & frame drops in the game. this Snapdragon 675 Processor is very suitable for a bit gaming.

In U20 Out of 64GB Storage, we get 58GB With Google Account Included.

Cellular Network Connectivity:

The Cellular network Connectivity is ExCellent On U20. In Hyderabad, The Signals From Airtel And Jio Are Very good. I’m Getting Nearly full Signal Which is Nice. It also Supports Dual 4G VOLTE.

Call Quality :

The Call quality on U20 is outstanding than other Midrange Devices and there are no issues with cellular call quality. We have taken long calls in a day, and the other party doesn’t complain about call Quality. In U20 the Calls are very clear through the Loudspeaker.

Rear Camera:

Coming to the Camera Department, U20 features a Triple Camera setup on the back of the device and a Single camera on the front of the device. they work perfectly in U20. let’s divide the cameras and look at the performance of them

1. Primary Camera: the 16MP main Camera is Awesome and features a Fixed Aperture of F/1.8. The daylight pictures are good and contain good details Which are near to natural photo. In low light Conditions, the images are Not clear and have noise which is bad.

2. Ultra Wide Angle Camera: the 8MP ultra wide angle lens on Vivo U20 does a good job in good lighting conditions and features a Fixed Aperture of F/2.2. it captures a much wider picture in 108˚ field of view with good details. exposure is in control with a decent dynamic range. in low lighting conditions, the 8MP camera also captures average photos with decent sharpness and in Controlled Exposure.

3. Depth camera:

the 2MP Depth Camera on Vivo U20 Doesn’t do a good job in low lighting conditions. it captures pictures with good portrait Effect. it is built to get Good support primary camera in low light Conditions.

Video recording can be done up to 4k@60fps .the video footage has excellent Colours with great sharpness and decent dynamic range. The video quality in the low night conditions is very good with good Sharpness and Decent Dynamic range. the Telephoto Camera Makes Difference in Video Recording with 2x Lossless Zoom. Slow Motion video Recording is Good
