Motorola Razr Review

Motorola launched Razr Folding series smartphone Named Moto Razr. Moto Razr is priced at 1,24,999 @ 6GB + 128 GB Variant In India.

It features the Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm named Sd 710 which is available on Nokia 8.1. this chip is made of 10nm LPP (Low Power Plus) FinFet process. this processor is divided into 2 parts; the first part features 6 x A55 low power cores which are clocked at 1.7GHz, second part features 2 x A75 high powered cores which are clocked at 2.2GHz. it has Adreno 616 GPU which increases its work by 20% compared to Snapdragon 710 the last Midrange processor from Qualcomm. It has an X15 Modem which has Download and Uploads speeds of 800 & 300MBPS. It has also integrated Ai Unit built-in the processor which helps in AI Capabilities.

I will divide the review into pros & cons. let’s see quick specs of

here in Display Department Moto Razr Features an Excellent HD+ P-AMOLED panel screen with 373 pixels per inch, the colors are rich and awesome, viewing angles are perfect. there are No issues & problems with screen quality. It is very bright to see in direct sunlight.

This 2.7” G-OLED Display Allows us to take Photos ( Viewfinder ) And to Check Notifications.

Single Speaker and Headphone Jack:

 in Moto Razr Motorola Used Single Speaker system which is enough. these speakers are supported by Dolby Atmos Surround Sound technology (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus) which helps to get clear sound output from the mobile speaker.

Coming to Headphone jack and earphones, the no headphone jack was equipped We have to listen through USB-C Port but the Quality is Good.

Build Quality : 

 Moto Razr is also Build with an Aluminium frame on the side and front with the Plastic screen and the back of the device is protected with Glass. Because of plastic on the back, it is slippery to hold. No issues of creakiness with the build quality. well built and the bezels are shrunk down to place a 6.4″ AMOLED screen.

Folding Hinge is Sturdy and it is not making the Creeking Sound when open and close.

In-Display fingerprint scanner: 

Moto Razr Features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor that is included in the top of the Frame. By looks, it is Small to see but, fast and very accurate to recognize the fingerprint of the user.

Face unlocking:

 Moto Razr has Stock Android 9 as the Operating system, that’s Why it does not have face unlock.

Weight balance: 

 Moto Razr feels so small and light with 6.4″ & 2.7”  Screen and 2510 mAh battery equipped. This Moto Razr can be used by one hand. The weight balance is done very well on the device. When  Folded it is like A small device for good grip and balance.

Battery life:

 My Moto Razr lasted a Full Working day with heavy usage and at the end of the day, I had 10% of charge left in the phone which is good for a 3300 mAH Battery The ideal drain of Moto Razr is very low as Galaxy fold. the 15W fast charging makes a difference and charges the phone in 120 min.

Stock Android 9 Pie Operating System :

  Stock Android present on the Moto Razr is very fast & so fluid, No lags were noticed. it comes with no bloatware installed.


My Moto Razr managed to do day to day tasks very well. there are no issues and problems with the UI and there are no heating issues with Moto Razr. It Supports High Gaming Setting in Any Game Because of SD 710.

Ram Management : 

Ram Management is done very well on this Moto Razr device. it features 6 GB ram and I did not notice any lags with the device and there is no reloading of apps on this Moto Razr. the Multitasking experience is nice.

Coming to Gaming, we played Asphalt 9 & PUBG at the highest graphics setting without any lags & frame drops in the game. thanks to the processor for giving us a lag-free gaming experience.

Call Quality :

 the Call quality on Moto Razr is very good and there are no issues with cellular call quality. we have taken long calls in a day and the other party doesn’t don’t complain. the earpiece is included in the top bezel & its very loud.


Coming to the Camera Department, Razr features a Dual camera setup on the back of the device and a single camera on the front of the device. they work perfectly in Razr. let’s divide the cameras and look at the performance of them

1. Main Camera: the 16MP main Camera is Awesome and features PADF. the Low light & daylight pictures are Awesome and contain very Mind-Blowing details like a natural Scene. Exposure is in control with decent Dynamic range.

2. TOF 3D Camera: 

The TOF 3D camera in Moto Razr does an awesome performance. The depth effect is natural and the edge detection is perfect.

Video recording can be done up to 4k UHD (3840×2160) .the video footage has awesome Colours with great sharpness and decent dynamic range in 4K. Stabilization is awesome in 1080p@30fps FHD recording.

Selfie camera :

 Moto Razr features a 5MP selfie camera with large 1.22 μm pixel size and
80˚ field of view. it has a fixed aperture of F/2.0. the Picture quality is fantastic and captures pictures in a Wide view. AI beautification mode is available. Photos are well detailed and contain a decent dynamic range.

This single-camera can be used to take portraits images from the front with the Help of Artificial Intelligence.
