Today Samsung Has launched Their Flagship SoC for S21 Series Smartphones Named Exynos 2100 with Integrated 5G Modem. This Chip is Built On 5nm EUV ( Extreme ultraviolet lithography ) Process.
Coming to Specifications, This Processor Runs On Cortex-X1 running at 2.9GHz. There are Another Group of Cortex-A78 Cores which are Clocked at 2.8GHz. and There are Another Cortex-A55 Cores Running at 2.2GHz. On the GPU Side We have Mali-G78 MP14 on Board to Handle all The Graphical Tasks. Samsung Claims That This Soc is 30% Faster When Compared to Exynos 990. Here the Performance has Increased by 10% & Power Consumption has Decreased by 20%. Samsung has Used Mukti-IP Governer to Optimize The Power Usage CPU & GPU and Other Parts Of The Chipset.
Coming To GPU, This Mali-G78 MP14. This Has 14 Cores which can Handle the Heavy Games At HDR Resolution. Samsung Says That, The Board Mali G-78 MP14 GPU has 40% Increase in Performance when Compared to Mali-G77 MP11 GPU. There is Tri-Core NPU which Uses New Architecture with 26 TOPS ( Trillions or Tera Operations per Second ).
There is New Image Signal Processor in Exynos 2100 which Supports up 200MP Camera. This Can used To Connect 6 Cameras and Will Take Data From 4 Main Streams. The Multi-camera and Frame Processor (MCFP) can Collect the image Data From the Multiple Cameras. This MCFP Ultrawide & Telephoto Camera’s. Here the NPU is used To Detect Scene and Detect Faces & Things and Choose Optimal Settings to Click the Picture.
At Last This Exynos 2100 Features an Integrated 5G Modem like Exynos 980 & 1080. This Modem Give The Download Speed Of 7.35 Gbpson mmWave and 5.1 Gbps on Sub-6 Network like Exynos 990.
