Apple’s new flagship mobiles manufacturing unit is coming to India next year, according to a new leak. The apple’s manufacturing partner Foxconn will start assembling flagship iPhones(xs,xs max ,xr) in India next year. for this of apple, foxconn is going to invest $356 million in the country to expand its old iPhone production plant. this investment will create up to 25,000 jobs in the country and reduce apple’s manufacturing in China.
Foxconn is alredy assembling lower-end iPhones, like Iphone 6s,7 ,7plus,8,8plus,& demandable iPhone SE, in India. However, the foxconn has kept their higher-end iPhone manufacturing plant in China, where new iPhones are produced & assembled since 2007. assembling the more powerful devices, like iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, makes an important change in their policy for Foxconn and Apple. The reason to move assembling from China to India could cut the iPhone costs . The U.S. and Moving iPhone production to India will not be a risk and also helps Apple improve its connections in the important Indian market where the middle class market is more. they cannot afford to by the new iphones at present cost
It’s unclear exactly when Foxconn is going begin manufactuer of higher-end iPhones in India.
